Exercises For Quadriceps Tendonitis

Quadriceps tendonitis is a condition that occurs when the quadriceps tendon, which connects the quadriceps muscle to the kneecap, becomes inflamed.

The following exercises may help alleviate the symptoms of quadriceps tendonitis

Straight leg raises: Lie on your back with your legs straight out in front of you. Slowly lift one leg off the ground, keeping it straight, and hold for a few seconds before lowering it back down. Repeat with the other leg.

Wall sits: Stand with your back against a wall and your feet shoulder-width apart. Slowly slide down the wall until your knees are bent at a 90-degree angle. Hold this position for as long as you can before standing back up.

Step-ups: Stand in front of a step or bench. Step up onto the bench with one foot and then step back down. Repeat with the other foot.

Quadriceps stretches: Stand facing a wall and place one hand on the wall for balance. Grab your ankle with the other hand and pull your heel towards your buttocks, stretching your quadriceps muscle. Hold for 15-30 seconds and then switch to the other leg.
